If you know how to define a table in Excel you can get the data from your PDF documents, reports and screens into neatly formatted Excel sheets.
PDF2XL Enterprise is helping business users get hold on data that is provided to them in PDF format or from existing data in the organization applications and convert the data to MS Excel and MS Word. Installing PDF2XL Enterprise will add a printer to your printer-list. When you want to extract data from a report or screen, simply print it to the Cogniview printer. You will see the report/screen in a "print preview" mode and all you have to do is mark the data you want to extract to your excel and press the Convert Button.
PDF2XL Enterprise combining the strengths of the IRIS professional OCR technology with PDF2XL's data conversion capabilities, has a unique user interface designed to minimize the user effort. All you have to do is locate the table, mark the data area for extraction with your mouse, look at the lower part of the screen at a preview area to verify that you got what you want, and convert the data to Excel or Word.
Simple as it is, PDF2XL Enterprise includes advanced features to make the user's life as easy as possible, without compromising productivity and sophistication. You can drag and adjust the table borders of the extraction area, you can split and merge columns, rows and even individual cells to format the output table as close to the original format as you need. PDF2XL Enterprise handles an unlimited number of PDF pages in one conversion, and can remember previous tables layouts to save repetitive work. You can open PDF files that are on your computer, on your network or even on the Internet, and extract the data to your application.
